My mediation went well, and the client who did not trust me now thinks I am a hero.

To kill time during mediation, I hopped on eBay, and picked up a couple of the missing badges for the T Bird. The kid needs a good start, right?

Something happened, and things slipped out of control.

Kinja'd!!!

It is basically new, and ours has a messed up grille. Christmas is coming, right? I am going to have to hide this til then.

How did this happen?

How could I not approve - complete badging on a car like that is de rigueur ...

Old Thunderbirds have the best badges.

That’s as lot of $$ on badges, by then I would have debadged the thing or when looking at a yard lol

Kinda related. I need help. There’s a motorcycle on my local CL that I could possibly get really cheap, but it’s been partly crushed by a tree. Should I still get it and practice fixing it up??

Kudos for saving it and making a project with the kid. These beaky Birds aren’t the most embraced, but they do have a unique style. I forget if you mentioned it, 429?

When I was a kid, my mom had the Bird that followed this, the huge model similar to a Continental. It was white on white, and my parents were very fond of it. It had an emissions-strangled 460 that didn’t put out a lot of hp, but cruised with ease thanks to torque. Sadly, time was not kind to these cars, and it was off the road by 1985.
